Now the WWE are heading to the United Kingdom where Raw and SmackDown Live will take place next week and Survivor Series is just two weeks away.
WWE's mega-controversial Crown Jewel show has now come and gone, and to the surprise of absolutely no-one, the various scandals and PR misfires surrounding the event ultimately turned out to be far more interesting than the stunningly bland show itself.
Let's hope this post becomes woefully out-of-date after Monday's Raw, and WWE wrote a "Drew McIntyre kicks Lesnar's ass and takes the championship" segment for tonight. Plus, there is the World Cup Tournament which sees eight wrestlers battle, with four from RAW and four from SmackDown.
AJ Styles defeated Samoa Joe - Joe missed out on yet another opportunity to win the WWEChampionship belt as Styles hit a Phenomenal Forearm from the top rope to retain his title after fighting off a Cocquina Clutch. WWE Crown Jewel will begin at 9.30 PM IST on Friday with the show expected to last anywhere from 3.5-4 hours, not including the kickoff show, which starts an hour prior to the main card. In the other big match of the night, DX- the team of Shawn Michaels and Triple H - got the better of Undertaker and Kane in the star-studded event to put an end to their heated rivalry.
D-Generation X will face The Brothers of Destruction in a historic Tag team match. SmackDown Live is represented by Jeff Hardy vs The Miz and Rey Mysterio vs Randy Orton.
WWE fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment at the formulaic match and the overall result.
