YouTube experienced a major, but brief, outage late Tuesday.
YouTube has apologised after technical issues took the site offline for more than an hour overnight on Wednesday.
The video streaming service earlier said it was looking into reports about access issues with YouTube, YouTube TV and YouTube Music. Users across the world started to notice around 6.50 am (India time) that YouTube's desktop and mobile applications were down. Even though the company didn't detail the scale of the outage, it said that efforts were on to restore services, and it'll intimate once the issue was resolved. "We're working on resolving this and will let you know once fixed", the Team YouTube account says. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated", YouTube tweeted. If you continue to experience issues, please let us know: Team YouTube wrote on its official twitter handle.
According to user reports and outage-monitoring sites, the YouTube outages began sometime around 9pm on the east coast of the USA and 11am in Sydney.
Likewise, with all Google-operated administrations, genuine downtime for YouTube is really uncommon. Attempts to visit individual channels on the website returned "500 Internal Server Error" messages.
