The Oakland Raiders have an agreement in place to trade defensive lineman Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears, according to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter. In eight Chiefs-Raiders games, Mack had 5.5 sacks and nine QB hits against Nagy's offenses. Kennedy says that the Raiders WILL NOT end up parting ways with Mack via trade. Now, the Bears can take pressure off Floyd by having an elite pressure player in Mack when they visit the Packers on September 9, another team that reportedly was involved in the Mack Derby. Mack's deal would eclipse the six-year, $135-million deal that DT Aaron Donald signed with the Rams on Friday.
"Reggie McKenzie has had multiple offers to him - a first-round pick and another high pick", Pelissero explained. In April, NFL.com reported that the 2016 Defensive Player of the Year is seeking $65 million. "The spotlight is very clearly on Jon Gruden", Rapoport said.
The All-Pro edge rusher has been holding out during the preseason in hopes of landing a lucrative contract extension with the Oakland Raiders. Not only is Mack only 27-years old, but he is under contract for this season, and can be franchised for the next two.
