Those limitations aren't a major issue if you're doing something like watching a 360-degree video, but they don't permit more fully interactive experiences such as fancy games.
"Oculus Go remains the easiest and most affordable way to get into VR, while Oculus Rift leverages the power of your PC to push the limits of what's possible", writes the Oculus team. Facebook's goal was to provide users with a completely untethered and free experience in virtual reality, combining the capabilities of the Oculus Rift with the freedom of the Oculus Go which launched earlier this year.
Zuckerberg acknowledged that VR has not yet caught on with the majority of consumers, despite heavy investment from venture capitalists and tech companies like Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and Taiwan smartphone maker HTC.

Oculus Quest will also feature two redesigned controllers that have been fitted with touchpad control.
Facebook says users will be able to wander around in up to 4,000 square feet of spacewhile using the headset. The headset has a display resolution of 1600×1440 per eye. The headset also works without the need to connect it to a PC, which the current Oculus Rift requires.
Insight also supports multi-room guardian.
Oculus Quest could be a game changer for VR; it does away with the need to set up external sensors around you to track movement. Games and software designed for Quest, and future Oculus headsets, will still work on the original Rift. However, we haven't yet had the opportunity to try out the Oculus Quest so we'll reserve judgement. The social-media company acquired Oculus VR, a headset company, in 2014. It showed off a quick demo of someone using the device to view a digital version of their room and get Facebook Messenger notifications.
