Rapper Tekashi69 was kidnapped, pistol whipped, and robbed late last night, and he's now in the hospital under the close care of doctors as he tries to recover from the vicious, almost life-threatening attack.
The suspects are accused of threatening to kill the rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, if he didn't comply with their demands.
Earlier Sunday, TMZ filed a different and more detailed but unsubstantiated report, citing sources close to the rapper.
According to the publication, the Brooklyn-bred rapper said the incident occurred around 4:25 am on Sunday at an intersection in Brooklyn. When he came to, he was in the back seat of a vehicle and the gunmen were driving him around making demands for cash and jewelry and threatening to kill him if they didn't get it. As if that wasn't chaotic enough, Tekashi's baby mama and baby were inside the house at the time of the robbery but luckily they were not harmed.
According to the police report, two men displayed firearms, took Tekashi69's cellphone away and put him into their vehicle to drive to an undisclosed location. Sources told TMZ that three gunmen wearing hoods got out of the auto, grabbed 6ix9ine, and pistol-whipped him.
They reportedly made off with around $750,000 in jewelry and $15,000-$20,000 in cash. The stranger called 911 - then promptly ask the roughed-up rapper to get out of the auto. This comes hours after the rapper released a song with Nicki Minaj called "Fefe".
