Trump fixer Michael Cohen is not necessarily the president's friend anymore, according to CNN chief political analyst Gloria Borger.

Flynn resigned in February 2017 after it became public that he had misled Vice President Mike Pence over whether he discussed United States sanctions with Moscow's ambassador to the U.S. before the inauguration. Federal agents searched Cohen's home and office in April, and speculation has since mounted that he might turn on Trump and provide evidence to federal officials that could implicate the president or his campaign. Tell me we have something to hide.

Just one day after Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump's personal lawyer said he had no concerns about Michael Cohen testifying before the special counsel as long as Cohen tells the truth, Michael Cohen's new attack dog is firing back.

"My wife, my daughter and my son have my first loyalty and always will", Cohen said.

Giuliani emphasized Cohen "telling the truth" on three separate occasions during the interview.

Earlier this year Giuliani had said a meeting could take place in weeks; he then extended that time frame. The president did nothing wrong with him, so we've gone through every document we can.

A tweet from Davis on Monday implies that Guiliani wasn't talking about the actual truth, but a version of the story that would benefit the president, and that neither Trump nor Guiliani have what could be called a close relationship with "truth" by any definition.

Cohen told ABC he did not dismiss the possibility of cooperating with the Russian Federation investigation. What we're asking them for is: Is this the witch hunt that a lot of people think it is?

His lawyers are appealing a June 15 order by Jackson that sent him to jail after prosecutors accused him of attempting to tamper with witnesses.

The former NY mayor said on NBC that it's "great" if Cohen wants to cooperate with investigators because "we've been through all the records" and "he has no evidence of, nor was he involved in, anything untoward with the president".

Cohen, in the interview, also specifically raised the point that he believes the intelligence communities over Trump.
