"I had a very good feeling about him".
South Korea's Defense Ministry said at the time that it "needs to find out the exact meaning or intention behind [Trump's] comments".

At a Cabinet meeting the next day, Trump said that he understood "that they've already sent back or are in the process of sending back the remains of our great heroes who died in North Korea during the war".
Trump is said to have written a message on the CD for Kim. "I expect that [North Korea] is ready to do the same". US intelligence officials told The Washington Post last week that North Korea does not intend to fully surrender its weapons stockpile, while recently released commercial satellite imagery appeared to show North Korea expanding a missile-manufacturing plant.
Blowing up the nuclear test site was all that the North has done with regard to denuclearization, he said.
But the meeting was low on details, with the two sides emphasizing the need to build trust amid growing doubts about North Korea's commitment to "complete denuclearization" after several reports they were moving forward with their nuclear weapons program.
Speaking aboard Air Force One on a trip to Montana, Trump said he believed he forged a personal connection with the young autocrat he once pilloried as "Little Rocket Man".
Mr Pompeo is therefore under pressure to produce evidence Pyongyang is taking steps towards ending its programme.
"Once they started playing, the players showed quick chemistry and I was proud of them, " said Lee Moon-kyu, the head coach of South Korea's women's team, who will also lead a combined Koreas team at the Asian Games next month in Indonesia.
Kim agreed to the "complete denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula" - a stock phrase favoured by Pyongyang that stops short of longstanding United States demands for North Korea to give up its atomic arsenal in a "verifiable" and "irreversible" way. Satellite imagery captured on June 21 suggests the North is continuing to upgrade infrastructure at its Yongbyon nuclear scientific research centre. Under their "Sunshine Policy", economic inducements from Seoul resulted in temporary rapprochement and summits in 2000 and 2007 with then-North Korean leader Kim Jong Il, the father of current leader Kim Jong Un.
Kim has also met with China's President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Donald Trump.
He said relations between the USA and North Korea have "dramatically shifted" in North Korea's favor over the past few months.
