Fortnite released a Save the World Developer Update covering the Birthday updates and what the new quests will involve. Patch 5.10 has been implemented, though some players are now unable to access the birthday challenges - the official Fortnite Twitter account clarified this would be resolved by 8pm EST (US) or midnight GMT (UK). The constant support that Epic Games has given to make sure that this game remains exciting while still keeping it free to play is admirable.
Update: Epic has said you're going to have to wait until the store refreshes until the Challenges unlock for some players.
Save the World players will find the brand new location, Canny Valley.
The return of Playground LTM hits tomorrow, July 25, and it will bring with it new team select options that let you and your set up team battles for practice for training.
Similar to the weekly challenges, three birthday challenges will be presented, each with their own reward for completing the task required.
The biggest thing, however, is a special birthday event. These cake slices give +5 health and +5 shield instantly when consumed. Originally a game that had been in development for years, it eventually evolved into one of the most popular games of this generation with the addition of its Battle Royale mode.
