If true, it would be the first expansion of color options since the iPhone 5C launched in 2013.
The iPhone 8 now is available in silver, black, gold, and red. It will be available in a multitude of colors including grey, white, red, blue, and orange.
Apple is getting colorful with this year's line of iPhones. The company is expected to launch three new iPhone devices this year - a refreshed 5.8-inch iPhone X, a 6.1-inch LCD iPhone with slim bezels, and a larger 6.5-inch OLED display iPhone with dual-SIM support. That could be changing, though - Apple is reportedly launching three new iPhones this year, one of which is expected to launch with a wide variety of color options to pick from, including orange, blue, red, and more.
That's a lot of colors and options for consumers. These colors are also expected for the 6.5-inch iPhone X "Plus". The third, will bring down the lineup's price point and try to convince more users to upgrade their devices and utilize Face ID.
While it is unclear as to whether the white and gray colors mentioned are the existing Silver and Space Gray iPhone X colors that are available today, and even if they are, that means we can expect four new colors across the range. While red isn't a new color for the iPhone, it usually comes a few months after the initial launch, so it's not clear if Apple will advertise it as a Product (RED) version or as just another color.
There's no official word from Apple when these new phones will be unveiled but it's likely Apple will reveal all in early September.
