Bethesda also announced Starfield- its first new IP in 25 years.
"Starfield is a game we have spent years thinking about and working on", said Howard. At E3 2018, Bethesda announced its next big mobile game and this time it's an RPG and its based on the world of Elder Scrolls.
Combat is controlled via swiping on the touchscreen (which looks a bit weird because you haven't got a virtual arm) and also includes spells and what looks like fairly involved character customisation. Of course, everyone is ridiculously hyped about Elder Scrolls 6, but actually the other ES game, Elder Scrolls Blade is going to be a brilliant stopgap. It features traditional FPS elements and dying will not strip you of your gear.
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim took players into the northlands of Tamriel.
Arena - A battleground where you fight one-on-one against other real-life players. However, there is no set release date for the game at the moment.
RAGE is back with a massive bang; id Software has put Avalanche Studios in charge of the new game it is coming together beautifully.
Abyss - A roguelike experience where you dungeon crawl through a perma-death game. You fight monsters with swords, ranged weapons, and magic by swiping the screen.
We don't know how far away Starfield is, though it seems likely that it won't be released on this generation of consoles (Xbox One and PS4). However, we have a feeling that nothing about that footage is anywhere close to being finalised.
