Mega Man 11 is launching this October 2nd.
Players can already pre-order Mega Man 11 to receive extra bonuses, which includes in-game alternate soundtrack DLC.
Mega Man 11 will be playable at this year's E3 Expo at the Capcom Booth (South Hall, Booth #2223), and a closer look at the Amiibo Edition can be found after the break. The series' trademark jump, slide, and shoot gameplay remains intact, however. The upcoming title will see the return of nemesis Dr. The Double Gear activates at critical health, allowing Mega Man to gain access to a hidden ability to activate the Power and Speed gears simultaneously.
Mega Man 11 release date has been potentially leaked by the official PlayStation Store. It's been a long time coming too, as the last game in the mainline series was released all the way back in 2010. Mega Man 11 will debut on October 2 in the United States and will be available on all major console platforms ( PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch) and the PC. The former attacks by dropping, well, blocks on top of you, while the latter uses his speed and electricity beams to thwart your efforts. For example, they will be able to slow time down in the game with Speed Gear while Mega Man will be able to charge the Mega Buster to be more powerful with Power Gear.
Mega Man 11 will be combining "challenging 2D platforming action" with 3D-rendered characters.
New to the classic series, Mega Man now also takes on characteristics of defeated Robot Masters when wielding their weapons. In previous games, players had to pause the game and enter the menu in order to select weapons.
