FRIDAY FORECAST DETAILS: Expect variable clouds, scattered showers, and isolated thundershowers.
The rain will move out Thursday morning, but clouds and cool temperatures will once again linger across the area. Most areas will be dry but there is a chance for showers across Lamar, Fayette, Winston and Marion counties this afternoon as our next system gets closer. Highs are only expected to climb to the mid 50's at best. Easter weekend looks quite warm, as well. An active weather pattern will continue through the weekend with on and off rain chances.

Through the weekend we could easily see 1"-3" of rain with most of that falling on Tuesday and Tuesday night.
Easter Sunday had been looking good but a chance for light showers or even a snow flurry is possible.
High temperatures today, and through the first week of April, will mostly be cooler than they should be for this time of the year in the Lehigh Valley.
The High Wind Warning will go into effect Monday evening at 9:00 pm and last through Tuesday evening. Thursday looks partly cloudy with lows in the upper 20s and highs in the low 40s. Areas south are likely to sneak into the lower 50s but most areas north could remain in the 40s.
EXTENDED: We'll have a cold, mostly cloudy start to the day Friday with morning lows in the low to mi d 30s.

That rain will break through Thursday. The afternoon is expected to stay quite warm with highs in the lower 80s. Sunday: Cloud and sun, high in the low to mid 20s.
