State police chief Shesh Pal Vaid said the militants entered from the rear side of Sunjwan Army camp where family quarters are located.
Sunjwan (Jammu and Kashmir) [India] February 10 (ANI): Fresh gunshots were heard inside the Sunjwan Army camp during search and combing operation by the security forces on Saturday, just hours after terrorists attacked.
The administration has ordered the closure of all educational institutions within 500 metres of the camp.
A red alert has been issued in entire Jammu after the attack.
JCO Madan Lal Choudhary and his daughter were injured as militants stormed into the camp and opened fire.

According to initial reports, three heavily armed terrorists carried out the attack at around 4:30 am by opening indiscriminate firing and lobbing grenades inside the camp situated in Sujwan area of Jammu district.
"The security forces are meticulously planning the operation to avoid casualties as families of soldiers and officers are present in the residential quarters", sources said.
Guru and Bhat were hanged and buried inside New Delhi's Tihar Jail on February 9, 2013 and February 11, 1984 respectively.
"Around 4:55 am suspicious movement was noticed by the sentry and his bunker was sacked upon, the fire was retaliated. Militants number is not known as of now", he said. They have been cornered in one of the family quarters.
