Sony is putting the PSVR on sale again with discounts that make picking up the PlayStation 4's virtual reality headset look a lot more affordable. "Our PlayStation VR holiday deal was such a popular promotion, we're bringing it back to our fans", reads the announcement.
Sony is slashing the prices on its PSVR headsets and bundles by US$100, bringing its starting price down below US$200 once more. This set includes the aforementioned Gran Turismo title, the PlayStation VR headset, and the PlayStation Camera (which is imperative for the VR gaming experience).
Sony announces discounted PlayStation VR bundles starting on February 18. The best deal is a $199.99 bundle that normally costs $299.99, which means it has been given a 33-per cent price drop. Note that it lacks the Move controllers you will need for many games.
It's swings and roundabouts for VR fans with one system getting a price cut and another having a price increase. Sony touts more than 150 games now available for PSVR, and more than 130 set to launch before the end of the year.
