A Texas sports reporter is missing and there are fears something awful happened.
Roland suffered memory loss as a result of her reaction to the medication and she was continuing to be evaluated at a hospital, police said at a news conference. Police later said she was found in the area.
Police said, Roland's white Jeep was later was found with her phone and other personal items inside. Her purse - which contained an iPad, computer, and credit cards - was found intact somewhere inside the mall, according to KHOU. She was anxious that she was being followed by a blue truck leaving Walgreens, location unknown.
The roommate said Roland and her was supposed to meet up, but the roommate didn't hear from her again. On Sunday, Courtney's mother reportedly received a odd text from her daughter's phone.
Courtney Roland, 29, a reporter for Rivals' Texas A&M site AggieYell.com, was last seen leaving a Texas elite football camp in the Heights area at around 4pm on Saturday, her family told Click2Houston. She was driving a '15 Silver Jeep Cherokee Plate HZC7778.
In a facebook post Sunday, friends and family pleaded for the public's help in finding a Texas A&M football reporter.
Roland had last been seen Sunday evening walking alone in a store at the shopping mall. There is dispute online as to whether she was last seen in an Uber or another vehicle.
Anyone with information is asked to call HPD Missing Persons at 832-394-1840.
"If somebody has her, we just want to tell them that we love you too. Prayers out to her family during this hard time". Police said that she was unaware that she had been reported missing.
