Back in October, Ubisoft revealed the details of its post-launch content for the game, which begins with a piece of DLC called The Hidden Ones (coming later this month). Also loves books and can be found face first in one all the time. It sees Bayek leading his group of Assassins into battle against Romans who are occupying a region in Egypt. Now players can look forward to the biggest addition yet as the developer has announced the game will receive its first major story expansion, titled The Hidden Ones, sometime this month.
The expansion will introduce a new story, full of new locales and characters, as well as raise the level cap from 40 to 45. Expect a specific release date and a trailer soon. The expansion is free for season pass holders, but non-subscribers will presumably pay for the expansion. Along with that, the Heka chests item pool will be updated and it will add items from the Nightmare and First Civilization, the Gladiator and Wacky packs. "We are now investigating the possibility of implementing this option in a future title update". Once that's over, players will be able to take on the devious Sobek from January 23 to January 30.
If you haven't picked up Assassin's Creed Origins yet, I highly recommend it. The Almighty Pack comes on January 16th and includes four weapons and a shield, while the For Honor pack, based on Ubisoft's multiplayer title of the same name, will launch on January 30th and include three weapons and a shield.
