Prosecutors said in court Wednesday that Lindy Lou Layman, a 29-year-old Dallas court reporter, was on the date with attorney Anthony Buzbee on December 23 when she allegedly went on her destructive spree, according to KHOU.

Layman said in court this week that she has worked as a court reporter for nine years, KHOU reports.

Lindy Lou Layman a 29 year old Dallas femme fatale woman has found herself in a spot of bother after 'allegedly' destroying at least $300,000 worth of sculptures and original paintings belonging to a well-known Texas trial lawyer. Matters are said to have 'devolved' after Layman refused to leave, with the woman instead hiding inside the attorney's home.

According to local authorities, three original paintings, including two original Andy Warhol paintings valued at $500k each were damaged after Layman allegedly threw liquid at the art-work.

Buzbee says the two returned to his home, but Layman turned out to be too drunk to continue their date, prompting his call for an Uber. "Luckily those weren't damaged". The sculptures, KHOU reported, were worth $20,000 each.

Quoting prosecutors, the TV station said it had been their first date.

Layman was booked into the Harris County jail and released Monday after posting $30,000 bond. "It's not the first time I've had guests at a party of mine over imbibe".

"All I'll say is the owner wasn't budging that much", Buzbee told the newspaper. The Dallas Morning News reportsthat in 2016, Buzbee hosted a fundraiser for Donald Trump at the mansion where Saturday's incident occurred, and donated $250,000 to Trump's presidential campaign. Attendees paid between $5,400 and a quarter of a million dollars to come.
