Newly-crowned Miss World Manushi Chhillar, star woman cricketer Mithali Raj and ace tennis player Sania Mirza will be among the speakers at the summit, on the theme of "Women First, Prosperity for All", as per the agenda of the GES. "It is also critical for worldwide relations for prosperity and freedom of trade", said Juster, on the importance of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), which begins in Hyderabad on Tuesday. More than 1,500 participants from 150 countries are expected at the event, which runs from November 28 through 30.
The 2017 event will focus on four innovative, high-growth industries - healthcare and life sciences; digital economy and financial technology; energy and infrastructure, and media and entertainment.
Trump was invited by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June, this year's theme being supporting women entrepreneurs. "The theme demonstrates the commitment of the governments of the U.S. and India to the principle that when women are economically empowered, their communities and countries thrive", Mr Kant said.
GES, a personal initiative of former US President Barack Obama to bring entrepreneurs from across the globe on one platform, made a beginning in 2010 in Washington and thereafter it has been hosted by Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Morocco and Kenya.
In 2016, Silicon Valley hosted the GES.
Addressing a press conference along with Kenneth Juster, the US Ambassador to India, Mr Kant said that Union ministers Sushma Swaraj, Nirmala Sitharaman and Suresh Prabhu would participate in the Summit.
Known for its premier academic institutions, top-notch talent, and investor-friendly policies, the city also boasts of T-Hub, India's largest startup capital.
Besides Faluknama, Donald Trump's eldest daughter's visit might also include a sight-seeing trip to Charminar - a historical site that topped Ms Trump's list of must visit places in India. However, various departments under the Centre had hoped that top USA officials accompanying her to the summit would endorse Modi's economic agenda and unwittingly deflate the criticism being hurled at the Prime Minister on this front by his opponents domestically.
