Plot: The storyline of Avengers 4 is touted to be independent of Infinity War.
With the first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War set to arrive tomorrow, Marvel has unveiled a teaser poster for the hotly-anticipated superhero epic which you can check out below... Next year and the year after will see the introduction of Okoye (Danai Gurira) and Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), who are introduced in 2018 and 2019, respectively (assuming Captain Marvel doesn't pop up in Avengers: Infinity War). It stars almost all the major superheroes from previous Marvel Studios films. Taking advantage of the fact that Tom Holland " s Spider-Man is now officially in the MCU fold and is Marvel's direct line of communication to the young "uns of today, Holland made an Instagram Story out of unboxing a package he received from Mark Ruffalo.
Holland pulls out what appears to be the new poster for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. But then he read a personal note from Ruffalo that's emblazoned with the word "confidential".
It's a really amusing and smart way to start breaking news on this movie, and it's a joy to watch.
The poster, which you can see below, falls in line with the one sheets for both The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, focusing exclusively on the Avengers "A" and a specific color scheme. It was the test to see if this experiment of threading different characters into each other's movies would work, and it paid off big time. Marvel Studio president Kevin Feige, in an interview to Den Of Geek, has elaborated on the subject, "There's a reason we have publicly called the first one Infinity War and the second one "untitled", because the movies we were developing were not - certainly there's a connection, there are with all our movies - but it's not a first part and a second part".
Avengers: Infinity War opens on April 27th 2018 in the United Kingdom and May 4th 2018 in the USA and will feature an all-star cast including Robert Downey Jr.
