The feature can be accessed via the camera icon at the bottom of the screen, and users can continually send edited photos back and forth. In a blog post, Instagram announced a new feature that allows users to "remix" photos from friends...
You can find out more information about the new Remix photo feature for Instagram over at the company's website at the link below. They can then respond back the same way until your conversation becomes a never-ending photo remix. You then get to resize it, move it around and add your own stickers to it. You also have the choice to draw a photo, add stickers or text, etc.to the photo that you received as a direct message.
Additionally, after the picture is ready to send it to someone, you will have an option of sending it with either "One View" or the "Allow Replay" options. For everything else, choose "Allow Replay" so your friends have more time to view your messages.
As you might have noticed in the past, Instagram likes to roll out their new features slowly.
This way one could make it appear that one's friend's selfie is part of one's own staged image, giving opportunities to friends to edit the picture in any way they feel like doing so making one appear ridiculous or compromised as possible.
Both features are available on Instagram's latest update on iOS and Android. Users can also choose "Allow Replay" so that their friends can replay the photo or video if they choose.
